3D printer

In room 12 we have a new 3D printer. We have made a robot out of the 3D printer it is really awesome. We have all seen it go in action. It took 1 hour and 9 minute to complete the robot. It looks really cool and hopefully everyone gets a go with the 3D printer. It's the only 3D printer in Wakari school.

our awesome tiles

Room 12 have been doing some tile and clay art. We hope you like it.
Our art took about two days .

Steps for making tiles
First of all we got some clay and modelled it into a shape to use as a mold.
Then we put in some glass tiles upside down.
Next we got some plaster and water and mixed it well .
Then we poured the plaster into our clay shape.
Then waited for it to dry.
When it was dry we peeled off the clay.
And it was done.

Steps for making pots
First we got some clay then cut it in to three pieces.
Next we got a piece of clay and made it into a circle.
Then picked it up and dropped it two times so it wouldn't stick to the placemat.
Next make a worm with your hand and wrap it around your circle.
Then squish all the sides and make another worm keep on doing that until it's tall .
Optional-make a lid !!!! :D
To do this make a circle and add a dome as a handle.

Second game of hockey

Yesterday we had our second game of hockey at the McMillan Turf. It was a draw 3-3. We played the same team as last week, from Mornington. I've been working on trapping the ball and then hitting ti away. I am really good at defence and attacking for our team. I got player of the day for great defence. I hope the weather next week is as good as this week. Mr Smith coached us as Mr South was away. He was a pretty good coach for our game and I hope that Mrs Brown can come and watch me again.
